His canvases are characterized by the use of bright and pure colors, which serve as the background to stylized figures, human representations that often take on the appearance of heads or mysterious symbols of an archaic and universal humanity. His compositions recall early Christian art, Etruscan art and the traditions of primitive cultures, without ever falling into pure citationism.
